How ECO4 changes the numbers
ECO4 runs to March 2026 and funds whole-house retrofit - insulation, heating controls, low-carbon heating, even solar PV where it makes the EPC jump.

What's Included
What the grant covers
Every measure designed around your home, lodged with TrustMark, and certified for the funder.
Insulation
Cavity wall, loft, internal/external wall, room-in-roof, underfloor - whatever the retrofit assessment calls for.
Heating upgrades
First-time central heating, controls, smart thermostats, and air source heat pumps in qualifying off-gas homes.
EPC uplift
ECO4 targets a meaningful EPC jump. Every measure is modelled and lodged so your home's official rating moves up.

Who qualifies?
Most eligible households are surprised how straightforward it is. We confirm in minutes - no paperwork from you to start.
On qualifying benefits
Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Income Support, JSA, ESA, Child Tax Credit, Housing Benefit and others. Full list checked at survey.
Or low-income LA Flex referral
Your local council can refer you under LA Flex if your household income or health needs meet their published criteria.
EPC of D, E, F or G
Owner-occupied or private rented homes with a low EPC rating are in scope. Social housing is funded through SHDF instead.

Our retrofit assessor confirms the home can take the proposed measures without moisture or ventilation issues.
